The Flash has been in production for years but it has been hostage because of Circumstances like recastings and controversies. Irish West who is The Flash’s love interest was originally going to be played by another actress but it ended with Kiersey Clemons. It will also be the final movie where we will see Ben Affleck as Batman. Michael Keaton‘s Batman will also be in the film.
If things had gone according to plan, we might not have seen Supergirl until Superman And Lois finished its first season run — possibly late spring, early summer, But fortunately, thanks to a COVID scare on the Superman set (I mean, it sucks to be whoever that was, but…), we get Supergirl early! A few episodes from the sixth season will debut in March and April to fill the gap in production from the other show.
Last week, The CW announced its spring/summer schedule, revealing when all of its remaining shows would be starting their latest seasons…with the exception of Supergirl. There was no mention of it whatsoever, and the furthest date listed was June 14, so we assumed we wouldn’t be seeing it for a while.

The CW dumped a lot of images from its DC superhero lineup today, and TV Line published them exclusively. Sadly, we don’t see anything here related to Legends of Tomorrow, possibly because it premieres a week after everything else. But we’ve got lots of tights to look at today, and even some pink hair.
First the bad news: this year’s big DC Superhero Crossover will only encompass three shows out of the five that exist — Legends of Tomorrow can’t work its out-there arcs into the plot, and Black Lightning is in a different universe and doesn’t come back until midseason. But the good news is good indeed….The CW confirmed today that not only will Superman appear in this year’s crossover, he’ll be bringing his main squeeze!
Earlier this year, during the upfronts for the CW, Arrow star Stephen Amell came out and revealed that Batwoman would be coming to the Arrowverse via a three-part crossover between Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl. A crossover that would take them to Gotham City. Since then, fans have been eager for more and more details about the arrival of Kate Kane. And not only is there a series apparently being prepared for her, we now know that it will be none other than Ruby Rose playing her.
