Every Animated Movie Netflix Plans To Release In The Next Two Years
While they were bestowing us with a bit of Witcher information today, Netflix also casually dumped the schedule for EVERY animated movie on their plate through late 2024. It was believed Netflix cancelled most of their animated projects. Maybe they did, but this is still a lot. The most anticipated of these is the one that’s coming first: Nimona, a film based on the ND Stephenson graphic novel that was originally in development at Blue Sky Studios. Disney could have had this movie if they hadn’t thrown it away upon acquiring Blue Sky in the 20th Century Studios buyout. Fortunately, Netflix rescued it and we’ll get to see the finished product very soon. Nimona will premiere this summer. It will be followed by The Monkey King, a new take on the classic Chinese fable (and certainly not the first).
