Steins;Gate Elite Coming West In 2018
In 2009 developers 5pb. and Nitroplus created the sci-fi visual novel Steins;Gate, and now America is about to get a remastered version for modern consoles. Aside from Phoenix Wright or the Zero Escape trilogy, games with a heavy emphasis on reading generally don’t escape Japan very often. This one, however, is special: it caught on so well in its home country that it spun off into a manga, drama CDs, a movie, a live action stage play, and an anime. So if we’re finally getting the game that started it all, why not the best version? Steins;Gate Elite takes the original story and blends it in with the anime to create a fully synced visual animated adventure. Your choices will determine how the story plays out, and the game endings that weren’t animated in the anime have been given that treatment just for this game. STEINS;GATE ELITE follows a rag-tag band of tech-savvy young students who discover the means of changing the past via e-mail using a modified microwave. Their
