Nintendo Switch Could Get Mainline Pokemon Games
One of the main complaints from Pokemon fans over the last two decades has been the decision of Game Freak and Nintendo to only release the main titles on handheld devices. This means that the most popular games can only be experienced on portable consoles rather than on television screens through traditional hardware. However, that looks like it could be about to change with the release of the Nintendo Switch. Recent reports suggest that the new console will get a special release of Pokemon Sun & Moon entitled Pokemon Stars when it hits store shelves next year. A number of well-placed sources have informed Eurogamer that the title is already in development and will be ready to launch at some point in 2017.
