The Exorcist: Believer, Twice the possession, twice the horror
“The Exorcist: Believer” is a sequel to the 1973 horror hit “The Exorcist,”. A movie which made a horror icon out of then 14-year-old Linda Blair. If you have never watched the original, you have probably seen a picture of her as Possessed Regan in the viral “scary maze” prank game in the early 2000s. The original film earned $428.2 million in the global box office. It was so terrifying that some people couldn’t even finish watching it. “The Exorcist: Believer” marks the 6th movie in the franchise. I highly recommend the first film, and you can skip the others. However, “Exorcist III” is notable because it was serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer’s favorite movie. “The Exorcist: Believer” is a soft reboot that disregards the other sequels and serves as a direct sequel to the first film.
