Today was the day Nintendo hosted their first full-fledged, hour-long Nintendo Direct in months. Those who hung around the rumor mills expecting Bayonetta 3, Breath of the Wild 2, and Sora in Smash likely left bitter. But the rest of us found plenty to occupy our Switches for the next half-year, as well as some forecasts for beyond.
In a new interview with IGN, the producer behind Nintendo’s most recent Legend of Zelda titles, Eiji Aonuma, said development of the new game he’s working on was influenced by reactions to the previous console game in the series, Skyward Sword.
Nintendo has announced that if you were one of the unlucky few who experienced the game crippling Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword bug found in the Song of the Hero quest you can call 1-800-255-3700 to have Nintendo repair your saved game. Nintendo went on to say they will be releasing a program that will allow you to repair the game save yourself; all you will need is Internet connectivity.(more…)

Sales wise, Nintendo has dominated this generation of consoles. No competitor sold anywhere near as many systems as Nintendo’s little system that could.
