Skull Island Premiered on Netflix few days ago on June 22, 2023. Confident that this show will attract new subscribers, Netflix took the initiative of uploading the Pilot Episode for free on its YouTube Channel. Moreover, Legendary Films, the company behind the modern Godzilla and King Kong movies, actively participates in the production of this animated series. Skull Island is part of the Monsterverse films but work as a prequel as it is set in 1990. You don’t need to watch the Monsterverse films because it works as a standalone series.
