The next piece of downloadable add-on content for Far Cry 4 launches tomorrow with the Valley of the Yetis DLC. To commemorate the release, Ubisoft has released a new extended gameplay video with developer commentary. The new six-minute plus video is available below. In the new video, Ubisoft community developers Kim Belair and Ariadne MacGillivray narrate the opening of the new DLC, as protagonist Ajay Ghale has crashed his helicopter at the top of the Himalayas, and he is stranded on a perilous ridge. Ajay then has to capture a camp for shelder and guard it from a cult, the Awakened Ones. However, the valley is also occupied by dangerous yetis. The video features one such boss fight with one of the dangerous yetis. In Valley of the Yetis, the camp Ajay Ghale captures is used as the players’ safe house. Players will then have to fortify the camp and complete side quests. However, even after capturing the quest, players will still have to defend it from waves of attackers

The next Batman video game wants players to become the next criminal kingpin of Gotham City and to build an underworld empire. Wait, is not that the reverse of what should be happening in Batman: Arkham Knight? Actually, not at all. Earlier this week, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment officially announced the upcoming release for a new mobile game title for the hit Batman Arkham franchise. Batman Arkham Underworld is set to launch next month in April from Turbine. Turbine is also the studio behind such titles as Infinite Crisis (still in the beta phase) and The Lord of the Rings Online. Batman Arkham Underworld puts the player in the role of a nameless criminal who is trying to build a criminal empire and has to fight to the top of the corrupt underworld of Gotham City. Techland has officially announced the details for the next DLC add-on for the first-person zombie survival game Dying Light. The Ultimate Survivor Bundle will drop next Tuesday on March 10. In addition, Techland provided The Paranoid Gamer with a new trailer for the DLC pack, which is available below. The new Ultimate Survivor Bundle offers players new items and character outfits for the game. The add-on pack features blueprints for four new weapons, including: The Constable, the Night Club, the Lacerator and the Buzz Killer. New character outfits for the DLC are the Ninja, Urban Explorer and Special Agent. The next DLC drop for Dying Light will be available for the game’s Season Pass, or it can be purchased individually for $4.99. In addition, players will have access to a new free update for Dying Light next week with patch 1.4. Techland promises the patch will improve game performance, balance, online features and visual fidelity. For more difficulty and challenge-minded players, patch 1.4 adds a new Hard Mode for the game.

Konami and Kojima Productions have finally shed some light on the long-awaited, highly anticipated release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Hideo Kojima has confirmed the game will finally be released worldwide on September 1, 2015. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have officially announced a new mobile companion app version of Mortal Kombat X. The new mobile game is a free-to-play fighting/card-battler hybrid that is being developed for iPad, iPod Touch, iPhond and Android devices. The companion app, developed by NetherRealm Studios, will launch alongside the console version of Mortal Kombat X next month in April. NetherRealm Studios Creative Director Ed Boon stated on the announcement of the mobile game: “NetherRealm Studios has created a Mortal Kombat X mobile experience that allows more players than ever before to play this over-the-top fighting game through their ever-present smartphones, tablets or other devices. Nintendo has released a video for the final DLC release for the new hit game Hyrule Warriors. The main attraction will be Ganondorf (aka Ganon) as a playable character. Players wanting to get a shot at an early run on Battlefield Hardline will get that opportunity next month. Electronic Arts and Visceral Games announced this week that a trial version of the game will be available exclusively for EA Access members on March 12. The free trial version offers players 10 hours of gameplay for both multiplayer and single-player content. Players will have the opportunity to check out the prologue and first episode of the single-player campaign. All of Battlefield Hardline’s multiplayer modes and maps will be available to play. In addition, EA has confirmed that all the progress from the trial version will be carried over to the game at launch. The new video confirms the appearance of other members of Batman’s Rogues Gallery for the game, including Poison Ivy and Firefly, who were not yet confirmed for the game before. Bethesda Softworks has released the official trailer for the first upcoming DLC release for The Evil Within. The trailer for The Assignment is available below. In addition, Bethesda provided The Paranoid Gamer with details for upcoming DLC expansions, The Assignment and The Consequence. The trailer features some new gameplay footage for the game expansion, which puts players into the role of the mysterious Juli Kidman from the initial game release. Kidman was posing as a junior detective working with protagonist Sebastian Castellanos. However, she appeared to be working for a shadowy, clandestine organization behind the events of the game. The trailer reveals the name of the organization is Mobius, and they task Kidman with retrieving Leslie Withers. Juli Kidman will be the playable character in the next DLC release, The Consequence. Both The Assignment and The Consequence will feature stories concurrent to the main campaign from The Evil Within and will show Kidman’s whereabouts when she was not present during the story. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has officially handed the game rating for the highly anticipated final installment of Rocksteady Studios’ Batman: Arkham Trilogy. Batman Arkham Knight has been handed down a rating of M for Mature. An M rating means players only age 17 and older can buy the game. Anyone younger would have to have their parent buy the game for them. Arkham Knight has received the M rating for “blood, language, suggestive themes and violence.” This will be the first Batman: Arkham game to receive an M rating from the ESRB. While a lot of the previous games were quite dark and pushed the envelope in terms of suggestive content, all games received T for Teen ratings. Speaking to IGN, Batman Arkham Knight game director Sefton Hill addressed the rating change for the franchise and what it means for the game.
