Secret Wars: The Story So Far
If Secret Wars has been anything, it’s been grand in scale, huge in changing the landscape of the Marvel Universe, and long in terms of the issue releases, delays, and additions.

Marvel’s Secret Wars Series Extended to Provide Proper Conclusion
It looks like Marvel’s Secret Wars series will be going a little longer than previously intended. Marvel Comics officially announced this week that the Secret Wars comic series has been expanded to an additional ninth issue that will be released later this year, written by Jonathan Hickman and drawn by artist Esad Ribic.

Marvel Comics’ Post-Secret Wars Lineup Reveals November Titles
With the fifth issue of the core Secret Wars title released last week, we’re only three issues away until the series’ conclusion, and with it will come a new Marvel Universe. It will be one that will jump eight months ahead of where the event ends, creating new and (hopefully) exciting dynamics and situations for our favorite Marvel characters. Marvel has revealed via solicitations which of its Post-Secret Wars titles will come out in October, but now November has gotten its reveal. While many series have been spotlighted in this month, there are still a few missing that we know are coming. What does Marvel have in store? We’ll have to wait and see.

Marvel’s Secret Wars Dominates the Top Ten Sales Charts for Comics in July
It’s almost a given that when either DC or Marvel has an event, that the main title, along with the tie-ins, usually make it into the top ten in regards to sales. For July however, Marvel absolutely dominated the charts. Secret Wars (both the main book and the tie-ins) took up 8 of the top 10 spots. That’s impressive, more impressive when you realize that the tie-ins are technically either brand new stories, or re-tellings of classic Marvel stories in the new world that Secret Wars inhabits.

“All-New, All-Different” Marvel Previews Show Life After Marvel’s Secret Wars
Secret Wars is in full effect. The third issue of the main series actually releases today, with several of its spinoffs beginning as well. The question remains though, what will the Marvel universe be like after this event? Yes, they’ve said it will be “All-New” and “All-Different”, but how different will it be exactly?

What Happens After Secret Wars? We’ll Find Out “8 Months Later”
For Marvel, you could argue there has been no bigger event in recent years than the one that just recently started, Secret Wars. An event so big it actually began years ago with the relaunching of Avengers and Secret Avengers, and quite literally ended the Marvel Universe to bring the event to life.

Marvel Brings Back Dollar Comics With ‘True Believers” Line
Perhaps the biggest hurdle to getting into comic books today is that they’re so darned expensive. Your average comic book, digital or print, costs $4 and takes 10 minutes or less to read. Unless you’re a collector or you just really love the format, it can get difficult to justify the cost/enjoyment ratio.
