Last weekend, Robot Chicken commenced its latest season, and this coming weekend it shall continue commencing further. This week Adult Swim has two new premieres to show you, on two different nights. First off is the first-ever airing of the Robot Chicken episode “May Cause Involuntary Political Discharge.” According to Adult Swim’s official description of the episode, “Robot Chicken lets Yoshi get his revenge on Mario once and for all, a period gets so bad it requires a famous exorcist to fix, and Snoopy trains a new crew of WWI flying aces.” We have no clue what, exactly, Yoshi wants revenge on Mario for. By Robot Chicken logic it could be for all those years of riding on him, but that completely defies the canon of the games, where Yoshi is just fine with it. In fact you can’t make Yoshi do anything he doesn’t WANT to do, or he’ll swallow you and poop you out as an egg, and that’s really unpleasant. The new episode premieres Sunday, March 6

As long as there is pop culture media to make fun of, Robot Chicken will always be around…well, Adult Swim ceasing broadcast would throw a wrench in it, but maybe it could continue on somewhere else. It leads this weekend’s list of AS premieres with the brand new episode “May Cause a Squeakquel.” According to Adult Swim’s official description of the episode, “Robot Chicken takes Mojo Jojo’s side against the Powerpuff Girls; Nightwing demands criminals butt out; Dilbert dies hard with a vengeance… of laughter!” You heard correct — this will be one of those rare episodes where the Robot Chicken himself participates in a sketch. Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken parodies just about everything, but every now and then their targets have enough of a sense of humor that they partner with RC to produce officially licensed specials centered around their IPs. You can add Archie Comics to that list when what has been dubbed The Bleepin’ Robot Chicken Archie Comics Special runs next month. Given that this is Robot Chicken we’re talking about, virtually anything could happen, but there are a couple of hints on what we’re in for within the official description: “Archie faces the action-packed return of Josie and the Pussycats from outer space to Riverdale in this animated comedy. Featuring the origin of Archie Andrews as only the Robot Chicken writers can tell it! Plus, wacky shenanigans!” The voice cast is an impressive one. Robot Chicken Ushers in Season 8 With New DC Comics Special

Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block has announced the premiere of the eighth season of the hit stop-motion, animated comedy series Robot Chicken. The new season will premiere with a half-hour special, the Robot Chicken DC Comics Special III: Magical Friendship. This very special episode premieres next month. In addition, Adult Swim provided us with a new trailer and some photo stills of the special, which you can check out below. Following the special, the regular eighth season of Robot Chicken will kick off one week later. It’s almost hard to believe that Robot Chicken first hit the airwaves 10 years ago, and it’s still going strong with its unique blend of nostalgic geek humor, comic books, superheroes and 1980s toy references. The new DC special includes Superman bugging Batman about not having super powers. Also the Justice League has encounters with alternate Multiverse versions of themselves, including Batman meeting the Adam West 1960s TV series Batman. New Trailer for SuperMansion Released

The Emmy award-winning team and studio behind the hit series, Robot Chicken, have created a new original, stop-motion animated series that will soon premiere on Crackle next month. That show, SuperMansion, features a superhero theme, and Crackle and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios have released a new trailer for the show, which you can check out below. The new series features an all-star cast, which includes Bryan Cranston, Seth Green, Keegan-Michael Key, Jillian Bell, and Chris Pine. Cranston actually serves as executive producer for the show alongside Green, John Harvatine, Eric Towner and James Degus. Matthew Senreich and Zeb Wells of Robot Chicken fame created the show and serve as the writes and producers. The show follows Titanium Rex, leader of The League of Freedom, a motley band of super heroes are struggling to remain relevant in a world that is over-saturated with superheroes. Titanium Rex fights alongside the Millenial-aged, often lackadaisical members of The League of Freedom as they battle arch-enemies and more. The show definitely appears to be an irreverent,
