Following the hoo-ha, debates and feuds about the fact some of Resident Evil 6’s DLC is on-disc (a la Street Fighter X Tekken), the developer has stepped forward to clarify that these particular extras will not come at a price.
After an initially positive critical reception, Resident Evil 6 has been taking a bit of a battering from the critics. Recent negative verdicts include a measly 4.5/10 from GameSpot UK’s Kevin VanOrd and a damning 3/10 from Destructiod’s Jim Sterling, who unapologetically labelled Capcom’s action adventure blockbuster “a Michael Bay movie”.
Resident Evil 2 is the survival horror franchise’s most successful title on a single platform. Released in 1998 on Sony’s first PlayStation console, it was extremely well received by critics – so much so that it was later ported to multiple other platforms, including SEGA Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and PC.
