Classic Gaming Expo Founders Launch Videogame History Museum
John Hardie, Sean Kelly, and Joe Santulli, organizers of the annual Classic Gaming Expo, have launched the Videogame History Museum – a 501©(3) non-profit charity dedicated to preserving and archiving the history of the Videogame industry. Currently the group is seeking initial working capital using the unique crowdfunding business plan offered through their project on the kickstarter web-site (www.kickstarter.com) The initial goal is to raise $30,000 to help finance additional fundraising activities and also to better mobilize the museum’s collections for exhibit at various industry trade shows.

Activision Confirms April 2012 for PROTOTYPE 2
The epic showdown between James Heller and Alex Mercer will happen on April 24, 2012 as Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) has confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated open-world action game PROTOTYPE® 2 at San Diego Comic-Con. In celebration of the newly revealed launch timing, Radical Entertainment is unveiling the first of a stunning three-part CG trailer for the game at www.prototypegame.com, and is showcasing the first public game presentations of PROTOTYPE 2 at the Activision booth (#5445) at San Diego Comic-Con.

In this official PROTOTYPE 2 Video, Radical Entertainment shares a few early details on one of the biggest new shape-shifting powers being introduced to the PROTOTYPE universe. Acquired from an unknown pathogen of infected origin somewhere in New York Zero [NYZ], Sgt. James Heller’s Tendril power allows him to devastate areas of NYZ on a massive scale, lifting and tearing apart cars and military vehicles, and ensnaring large infected beasts in semi-sentient Tendril webs. With both tactical and purely offensive abilities built into the Tendril power set, this new feature represents a giant leap forward in Radical’s proprietary Titanium 2 engine technology, and brings a new level of power and combat control to players in 2012.
