So it is with a heavy heart that we report one of these great talents has now become one with the Force. Baker’s niece Abigail Shield has sadly confirmed his passing at age 81, following a long illness. Shield commented “It was expected, but it’s sad nonetheless. He had a very long and fulfilled life. He brought lots of happiness to people and we’ll be celebrating the fact that he was well loved throughout the world. We’re all very proud of what he achieved in his lifetime.” Baker’s manager Johnny Mans added “Kenny was truly a great friend, one of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet, and a fabulous and talented performer.” Standing 3ft 8 inches, Baker’s charisma made him a giant amongst fans of the globally popular space opera.
