Jack is back! Sort of. The cartoon series has wrapped up its story for good (thank you, Adult Swim), but you can experience a lost chapter from the wandering samurai’s adventures when Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is released for consoles and PC.
Yesterday, Larian Studios announced that they will be unveiling the gameplay for Baldur’s Gate 3 at PAX East! For those unaware, it is the third installment in a series of video games based off Dungeons & Dragons. In addition, the game was officially announced at last year’s E3.
Austrian developers StillAlive and German publisher Astragon collaborated on the video game Bus Simulator. They’re now working together on a second project, this one quite different from their first. Droneswarm is a real-time strategy game where you play as Captain Carter, commander of an army of drones. Actually, I should saw swarm, not army, because not only is it in the title, they really mean it.
With the announcement of Dark Souls Remastered came many reactions, from hype to disapproval, to surprise as the last console from Nintendo, The Wii U avoided a good amount of mature games. That seems to have changed with the Switch as it has much more Mature themed games. Dark Souls Remastered is just another addition to this trend with the Switch.
The release of the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy last year for the Playstation 4 was met with cheers from fans everywhere. But back in March Nintendo announced that the trilogy will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch July 10th. However the franchise has been known as a Sony/Playstation exclusive since the start. At PAX East 2018 Nintendo is presenting a demo on the show floor at their booth.
PAX East is nearly upon us. The gaming convention in April is a place where gamers can take a look at some of the great and unique indie titles for themselves and see if any get them excited. At PAX East today, Cartoon Network revealed a brand new animated series called OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes. The twist here, is that the animated series will have a complimentary game to go with it and flesh out the universe even more.
Impeller Studios announced today the multiplayer debut of Starfighter Inc., a hardcore space combat simulator set in the solar system 200 years in the future, at PAX East 2017. Lead Designer David Wessman spoke about the game, and it’s upcoming Kickstarter campaign, saying:
