She-Hulk Showrunner Apologizes For Lack Of Madisynn In Finale
No one can truly predict if a show will catch on, and if it does, what people will like and dislike about it. Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, which wrapped its first season last week, had many eccentric characters, but perhaps none wilder than the stumbling, heavily vocally fried Madisynn King, subject of Episode 4. Despite appearing in just one episode, Madisynn became the most talked-about and memed element of the series. Jameela Jamil’s Titania appeared far more often and wasn’t nearly as popular despite being Jameela Jamil. So a lot of people assumed Madisynn would be making a return appearance in last week’s finale….people that kind of had no idea how streaming TV works. Unlike a network show, typically all episodes of a streaming season are completed before the show is given a premiere date. At the point where Madisynn made her debut, everything else about the season had been set in stone and there was no way to react to audience demand. ..But it’s actually worse than that.
