Finally, The Avatar World Is Coming Back – And We Mean The Real One
It’s been a frustrating last few years for fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend Of Korra and all things related. The rich world Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino created has limitless potential, but it’s only been added to lately through comic books. Ever since Nickelodeon banished Korra to their website for the last two seasons, they haven’t expressed any interest in a third series, a spinoff or anything else. The most we’ve gotten is a deal with Netflix for a live-action remake of ATLA that, ominously, the creators have walked away from. Who knows what made them suddenly see the light, but Nickelodeon and its parent company CBSViacom have agreed to finally make more Avatar stuff.
