Papers, Please Short Film Releases Online
Anyone who has followed indie games over the past few years has probably come across the highly acclaimed Papers, Please. The dystopian puzzler saw players manning a border control point where they would process the documents of immigrants and visitors into the fictional country of Arstotzka. It was a dark, and yet, thrilling game that put real consequence into the choices that had to be made in the game.
A short film based on the title is now available to watch on YouTube and will make its way to Steam in the near future. It has been made entirely with the blessing of the game’s creator Lucas Pope and the developer has had an influence over all aspects of the movie.
