Overkill’s The Walking Dead Launches Season 2 Content

Overkill’s The Walking Dead is a new story set within the Walking dead world. It features all new characters, and for the first time, 4-person co-op gameplay where you must work together to survive the zombie apocalypse. The game has launched on PC, and is set to arrive on consoles next year. But, the content for the PC version won’t wait, because they’re going to continue releasing content to expand the story and game world via seasonal packages. And now, Season 2 has released. Here’s a small breakdown of the content: Season two picks up with the main group of survivors facing new challenges in the aftermath of season one’s finale, including a powerful new enemy fortified on Washington, D.C.’s historic Capitol Hill. The first episode – “No Sanctuary” – sees players stage a daring raid on a Georgetown church to rescue a potentially life-saving informant. OVERKILL’S The Walking Dead PC Closed Beta Begins Oct. 9

OVERKILL’S The Walking Dead is aiming to be a very special entry into the Walking Dead franchise, a franchise that has a successful comic, TV series and spinoff, and video games. But this video game will be very different, as it’ll focus on cooperative gameplay starring four characters who are new to the universe in the eyes of the gamers. I.E., not ones associated with the comics, TV shows, or other games. However, despite having a lot of hype, the game has gotten a lot of delays. That being said, things seem to be lining up for a 2019 release, and as such, the team at OVERKILL have revealed that a closed beta for the game can be played starting on October 9th. As for how you can get into the beta, if you pre-order the game, you will automatically get access to it. You can pre-order via this link. Overkill’s The Walking Dead Gets Console Push Back To 2019

Though The Walking Dead universe is full of properties, including the legendary comic book, its adaptation TV series, and even a spinoff series not directly connected to the books, as well as popular video games, people are always looking for more. Which is why many are excited for Overkill’s The Walking Dead, which will feature four new characters taking on the world that they thought they once new. But, as they arrive in Gamescom, they now find themselves delaying the console version of the game until 2019. But, the PC version of the game is still coming this October. And a video released by the team at Overkill talks about the game at Gamecom as well as the delay. The Walking Dead franchise is no stranger to video games at this point. Telltale’s success with their comic book adaption is well-known, and both the comic and TV series have been adapted into other games — usually, cheap phone stuff. Overkill’s The Walking Dead, however, is different — it’s a serious attempt at a big expensive AAA fancy-pants game set in the comic’s universe. Starbreeze, Skybound Entertainment and 505 Games have been working on Overkill’s The Walking Dead for quite a while, and drip-feed new information out every now and then. A new cinematic trailer was released today for OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead, the upcoming cooperative first-person shooter in development by OVERKILL – A Starbreeze Studio, together with its partners Skybound Entertainment and 505 Games. This video features Aidan, the first of the game’s four unique playable characters fighting to stay alive in a post-apocalyptic world. Inspired by the rich story universe of Robert Kirkman’s original graphic novels, OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead is a four-player co-op multiplayer FPS action game set in Washington, D.C., as an outbreak brings the dead back to life. In this test of strategy and endurance, players will band together with up to three friends on a variety of missions and raids, securing supplies and survivors to strengthen their base camp against the threat of both the dead and the living – by any means necessary.
