Netflix Adds Offline Viewing Mode
Netflix have now added an offline viewing mode to their online streaming service for the very first time, allowing viewers to download content onto their devices so that they can watch them later without an internet connection. The new feature is set to roll out worldwide today and will give those who have to commute to work or are travelling long distances without a network connection to carry on watching their favorite shows – a feature that users have been requesting for several years. “While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where internet is expensive or limited,” Eddy Wu wrote in an official blog post announcing the new service.
