On the Trail of UFOs: Dark Sky Lands August 3rd On VOD

A new documentary is on the way from Small Town Monsters, the producers of docs centered around all sorts of legendary creatures — sasquatches, yetis, Mothmen and other hairy beasts. Lately, though, they’ve been turning their attention to the skies…On The Trail of UFOs, their most recent project, was released last year. Now that UFOs are in the public consciousness again thanks to recently declassified CIA reports, Small Town Monsters is back with a timely sequel. On the Trail of UFOs: Dark Sky has been announced for an August release. Join documentarian Seth Breedlove (founder of STM) and paranormal researcher and podcaster Shannon LeGro as they continue their search for answers. This time they’ve gathered a pile of eyewitness accounts of close encounters, and will be examining the stories to determine the truth. “This project excited us because we were able to look into reports from real people in real places that still connect what they’re seeing to what is being talked about in the mainstream media today,” Breedlove said.

UFOs! They’re out there….or not. Whether or not they’re real, America has had a long, long relationship with them (and we’re not just talking about the anal probe incidents). Small Town Monsters, makers of fine urban legend documentaries, explores the history of flying saucers and their followers in their latest doc, “On The Trail Of UFOs.” Director Seth Breedlove (who also founded Small Town Media) and Shannon Legro are your hosts for this fascinating dive into the lore and legend of Unidentified Flying Objects, through touring fourteen different states in the US and interviewing witnesses, investigators, and skeptics (nearly thirty interviews in all). There was also enough time before post-production to fit the recent social media inspired “run” on Area 51 into the doc. “On the Trail of UFOs” takes viewers from the gates of Area 51 itself, to the snow-capped White Mountains of New Hampshire.
