Occupation: Rainfall Comes To Digital
In 2018, the Australian production company Sparke Films created Occupation, a sci-fi indie film about alien invaders arriving from space to conquer Earth, and the Earthling resistance that rises up to fight them. The film was an unexpected hit, at least by indie standards, and Sparke is now producing a series of sequels, the first of which was released today on digital platforms. Occupation: Rainfall takes place two years after the original movie. The survivors of the initial attack are still fighting in the resistance, but thanks to a discovery by their allies, they discover new information that could change the tide of the war…but will it be for better or worse? One way or another, mankind will never give up the fight, cause you can’t take things that don’t belong to you! It’s a lesson both space aliens and Russian dictators gotta learn. Occupation: Rainfall has a surprisingly star-packed cast for what it is: it stars Ken Jeong (Crazy Rich Asians, The Hangover trilogy), Temuera Morrison (“The Book of
