Thanks to Game of Thrones, George RR Martin is one of the most famous authors on Earth. Rather than finishing the last few novels, Martin has chosen to spend his remaining years on Earth making other shows. With his latest, the 10-episode miniseries Nightflyers, he’s pivoting away from fantasy and trying his hand at sci-fi horror.

Famed video game company Capcom is charging into the movie business with a vengeance. Today during NYCC they confirmed the development of two movies based around their properties….one on Monster Hunter, the other on a familiar-looking blue robot.
Earlier this year, the news broke that Disney was looking into a live-action Star Wars series. Such plans have been announced before (back when Lucasfilm was its own entity) with no follow-up…but these are the days of Peak TV, when endless entertainment outlets need as much content as they can grab. Thus, we may finally get a live-action show set in the Star Wars universe, and it’s about a Mandalorian.
