If you ask any fan of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted series which real-world actor should play the character Nathan Drake (who has been the star of every Uncharted save one), the answer you usually get is “Nathan Fillion,” and not just because they share the same first name. Drake resembles Fillion, and Fillion is good at playing scrappy rough adventuring scoundrels, even if he doesn’t get paid to play them often enough.
The Last Of Us Part II is easily one of the most anticipated sequels in recent memory. The original game broke records and set standards for what games should be in many ways, and with most of the team returning for the sequel, most are expecting similar results. However, recent trailers for the game have put a much darker cloud over the game, as brutality was shown in full and it caused some to react badly. Thankfully, at the PlayStation Experience today, a panel for The Last Of Us Part II was held, and new details were revealed.

Studios close, heads of certain divisions leave or are replaced, and new teams are brought in to bring new life to games or studios. When you saw Naughty Dog’s first trailer for The Last Of Us 2 over the weekend, did you notice Ellie has had some ink done? The now 19-year-old protagonist sported a tattoo on her right arm as she was strumming the guitar. The tattoo was spotted by some viewers and requests were made to the studio to release the design. They did so on their Twitter account today….
At the PlayStation Experience today, Sony announced a sequel to the beloved game The Last Of Us. Titled simply The Last Of Us Part 2, the game will once again feature main characters Joel and Ellie. However, they will be older than they were in the first game.
Unfortunately, the long-awaited next installment of the Uncharted franchise, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, has been handed down another delay. The highly anticipated sequel has now had its release moved back another month from March 18 to April 26, 2018. Naughty Dog and Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley confirmed the news in an official statement to the PlayStation Blog. You can read the full statement below:
PlayStation Europe has confirmed on Twitter that the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will start earlier tomorrow (Dec. 3). That’s a little ahead of the originally scheduled start date for the multiplayer beta of Dec. 4.
According to a post by the PlayStation Blog, the 2015 PlayStation Experience will be hosting a panel for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. But that’s not all, the panel description confirmed that Laura Bailey (Avengers Assemble, Fullmetal Alchemist, Infamous Second Son) is officially part of the cast of the game (apparently doing both voice-over and motion capture work). Currently, her role in the game is unknown, but this is the first news that she was appearing in Uncharted 4.
If the recently console cycles have taught us anything, it’s that big budget, triple-A developers take their time to make their games, which they should in many cases. Naughty Dog is definitely one of those developers, as they want to make sure each title they release is worthy of fans. That being said, they still believe that after Uncharted 4 comes out, they’ll be making a few more games for PS4. Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer talked with Finder and noted:

Last week the internet went into overload when a video from Naughty Dog seemed to accidentally reveal that the developer was working on The Last of Us 2, a sequel to their highly successful zombie apocalypse action-adventure game that has been available on the PlayStation 3 since 2013. Fans have been clamoring for a new title to carry on the story for some time now and with the seeming confirmation that there would be more games, they were rightfully excited.
