The CW Releases Midseason Schedule Changes
It’s that time again. No, not the “CW renews everything” time, though that’s probably coming soon. It’s time for the little half-network to figure out where everything they ordered for the 2021-22 season but haven’t aired yet is going to fit. And with the finalized midseason schedule comes the reveal of some strange decisions. For one thing, you know all the noise the network is making over the five-part Flash crossover event? Turns out that’s all the Flash anyone is getting for months. The show goes on hiatus after those five episodes and doesn’t return until March. The same thing happens to Riverdale. Two new shows make their debuts in the winter months: Naomi, a DC adaption that may be the earliest comic-to-television job they’ve ever done, and All-American Homecoming, a spinoff of that show nobody you know watches yet is somehow currently the second-highest rated CW series.
