Wild Eye’s Cargo Moves To November
It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about Cargo, the upcoming thriller from Wild Eye Releasing. If it had stuck to its original premiere date, it would have been released three days ago, but that obviously didn’t happen. Today Wild Eye told us the film has been moved to November. Ron Thompson plays Anthony Peterson, a ruthless businessman who literally becomes cargo. He wakes up in a dark box with just a cell phone and a limited amount of air. He’s being used as a pawn in a blackmail scheme for money: he has a lot of connections and his kidnappers are counting on that fact. Using only a cell phone, he has 24 hours to gather ten million dollars and wire it to the bad guys, or he won’t make it out of the shipping container alive.
