Best Buy is no longer accepting online pre-orders for the Xbox One as it has run out of its allocated pre-order stock.

The War Z, the zombie MMO that launched to much controversy has been forced to change its name. The game will now be known as Infestation: Survivor Stories. The change has been made due to a trademark dispute with a un-named property which is most likely a conflict with World War Z the upcoming film starring Brad Pitt.
Nintendo has just revealed 2 new Super Smash Bros. games, one for the 3DS and one for Wii U. The new games will launch sometime in 2014 and both will be available digitally. Perhaps the biggest surprise during the announcement was the inclusion of Mega Man as a playable character. Appearing in his classic Blue Bomber iteration Mega Man showed off some of his moves that will be available to players in the games. Also announced as a new playable character was “The Villager” from animal crossing, who has the ability to dig pits to trap enemies and cut down trees to damage them. Other characters that were confirmed are Mario (obviously) Pikachu, Bowser, Pit, Princess Peach, Samus Aran, Fox McCloud and Donkey Kong. As well as characters a number of stages were also confirmed to be in the game, these include locations based on games such as the Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Mega Man, Animal Crossing, Nintendogs and more. Today during its E3 Direct presentation Nintendo announced Mario Kart 8 for Wii U. Mario Kart 8 will launch in spring 2014 and contains many new features. Perhaps the most noticeable new feature is the anti-gravity courses, certain areas of some tracks in the game will feature anti-gravity where players will be racing vertically as well as along walls and buildings. Mario Kart 8 also features the usual group of playable characters with the likes of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach shown in the trailer. Along with the returning characters there is many returning Karts, shown in the trailer were a variety of different Karts and Bikes, which both now feature hover blades to allow for anti-gravity racing. Also returning will be the much lauded online multiplayer modes, which were the highlight of Mario Kart 7 on 3DS. Mario Kart 8 will be shown in more detail throughout this week.
Ubisoft has announced not one, but two new Trials games which are coming in 2014. The first is Trials Fusion which is in development for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC which means an end to the Xbox exclusivity of the Trails series thus far. The second is Trials Frontier and is in development for mobile devices. Both of the games appear to have the traditional Trials gameplay but it remains to be seen if the traditional Trials difficulty will be carried across to the new games. Ubisoft also stated that the two games will interact with each other in some way although exactly how remains to be seen. This is not the first time developer RedLynx has developed for mobile as their game Motoheroz, which was very similar to trials, launched a few months ago and was quite good, hopefully they can build on that experience to create a truly amazing Trials game on mobile.
