Since the debut of the Marvel/Netflix series, one thing has been made very clear, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and even Punisher all exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They reference the Avengers constantly, and there was even rumors that the Defenders could arrive in Infinity War, alas, that wasn’t to be.
One of the things that separate Luke Cage from the other Marvel/Netflix shows is that by the end of the season, everyone knew who Luke Cage was both in name and in face. With him coming back to the world via Defenders, and then Luke Cage Season 02, his identity will be even more exposed. Which as actor Mike Colter reveals will be a big part of his characters story going forward:
Luke Cage has been a fan desire to be on the big screen for some time, yet, when he was announced for the Marvel/Netflix collaborations, fans weren’t mad, they were just happy to have him. When he arrived in Jessica Jones as a more secondary character, fans were eager to see him in his own series. Well it’s here, and it’s good. Sweet sister, it’s good.
An interview posted in X-One magazine with actor Mike Colter reveals that, which has since been posted online through Reddit, reveals that Master Chief is not the main protagonist in the upcoming first-person shooter Halo 5: Guardians. Colter plays Agent Locke in the live-action series Halo: Nightfall that connects the story between Halo 4 and Halo 5.
