Mega Man 11 Demo Live Now On Switch

Big surprise tonight out of Capcom. Mega Man is coming back next month, but you don’t have to wait until Halloween — you can play a Mega Man 11 demo right now! The demo consists of one level, guarded by the Robot Master Block Man. Mega Man has two new powers to defeat him: the Double Gear moves mapped to the shoulder buttons. Using the left Mega Man can power up his Buster instantly and shoot a mighty blast…using the right he can slow down time and gain the advantage over fast-moving foes. Better watch out though…Dr. Wily stole this new technology and some of his own robots will have it! In addition to Block Man’s stage, Capcom also revealed another Robot Master — Bounce Man, who lords over a stage called Boing-Boing Park. He’s not in the demo, but we have two new screenshots and a render to show him off. What brought this surprise release on? It is most likely that the demo was supposed to be announced

SDCC 2018: Mega Man 11 Shows Off Torch Man

It’s been 8 years since the last true Mega Man game launched, but this October, the legendary franchise returns with an all-new coat of paint. Mega Man 11 is set to bring many new things to the table, including a whole new visual style for the first time to the main series. And now, at San Diego Comic-Con, they’ve dropped a new trailer showing off the returning Torch Man. Torch Man is easily one of the most classic villains in the Mega Man series, and was even featured in the animated series and the Battle Network series in three different forms. Seeing him back in the main series is no doubt going to be a big treat for fans. Just as impressive though is the visual style for the game. The boss animations and attacks for Torch Man feel top notch, and it’s clear that Mega Man 11 will be maintaining the toughness of the original series while adding new twists on the formula. Mega Man 11 Coming October 2 To Switch

Now that you’ve all had a nostalgia blast with the first ten Mega Man games in one Switch package, you may be hungry for something new. Capcom’s got you covered. Presenting Mega Man 11, a sequel ten years in the making (probably not really). We’ll let you guess what the plot is this time — we’ll just hint that it involves a mad scientist with wigged-out white hair creating eight elemental robots to fight a blue robot that can steal their powers after defeating them. This is fine with us. If the plot involved Mega Man’s daughter meeting a disheveled Dr. Light drinking space cow milk on a remote planet, it just wouldn’t feel right. We don’t know who all the Robot Masters are yet. Only two have been revealed, thanks to the below trailer: Block Man and Fuse Man. Mega Man 11 Is Confirmed By Capcom — And That’s Not All

After many years of silence, and one bad imitation by Infaune, Capcom finally remembered they own one of video gaming’s most iconic characters. Mega Man is coming back — in a mega way! The long-awaited Mega Man 11 was confirmed to be in development by Capcom this morning, along with a one-minute reel to prove it. Producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya and director Koji Oda, both veterans of the series, will be involved, as well as character designer Yuji Ishihara. Work on Mega Man 11 has actually been going on for some time and Capcom slipped model sheets for the game into the image gallery of Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. They were there the whole time and you never knew! Speaking of the Legacy Collection, both halves will be made available for Nintendo Switch this spring.
