Multiplayer has been unlocked this weekend for the Mass Effect 3 demo that was previously single player only. Now you and 3 friends can mix it up online in Bioware’s version of Horde mode. But is it any good? Check out my impressions after the jump.(more…)
EA and Bioware have released a brand-new trailer for the multiplayer portion of Mass Effect 3. To be honest given Bioware’s track record lately I was more than a bit skeptical in regards to the addition of multiplayer in the series next entry. The trailer goes a long way in easing some of those initial fears I had, though we will have to wait till the game arrives before making a final verdict.
Making it the most expensive DLC ever, each action figure being offered by Big Fish Toys in the Mass Effect line up will have cards featuring codes for use in Mass Effect 3. Each figure is going to put you back either $17.99 per figure or a set of four for $67.99. Better yet you won’t even be sure what content you’ll be getting as, according to reports, every card will be randomly inserted.(more…)

(NASDAQ:ERTS), announced today that multiplayer will be coming to the critically-acclaimed Mass Effect™ series for the very first time as part of the new Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War system. With the Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War system, players will fight for the survival of the galaxy against an ancient alien race known only as, Reapers, in both the single player campaign and through a suite of Mass Effect games and applications. Progress made in each of the components of the system, including the new multiplayer mode, will directly link back to the player’s main campaign, helping Commander Shepard rally the forces of the galaxy to eliminate the Reaper threat once and for all.
