Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite hasn’t been getting the best press recently, yet, with its September 19th release date looming, more and more information for the game has been given out. Including a brand new story trailer for the title. In this one we see more characters being shown off, including new arrivals Jedah, Ghost Rider, Dormammu, Nemesis, and teases of other potential characters like Modok, among others. We even get a Dr. Light cameo! What’s also clear in the trailer is just how desperate the heroes of the Marvel and Capcom universe are in wanting to stop Ultron Sigma. We saw in the E3 trailer that they were going to free Thanos, however, it appears that not everyone is on board with such an idea. The scales are huge in Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite, with two villains, Ultron and Sigma combining to become one undeniable force, and even merging the Marvel and Capcom worlds together. How will it all play out? Yesterday, it was revealed at the San Diego Comic Con Marvel Games panel that four new characters would be coming to Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite in the forms of Spider-Man, Haggar, Nemesis, and Frank West. However, no trailer for these characters was given, until now. The trailer below shows off each of the new characters, as well as shows Gamora teaming up with Thaos to reveal what she can do. The moves are flashy, and true to who the characters are. Gamora is a master warrior, Spider-Man talks trash, Frank West uses whatever he can use to win, and more. What’s also shown is the Infinity Stones and what powers they can unleash on foes. Marvel Vs. Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite has been getting a lot of press recently, but not all of it has been good. The game has been criticized for the lack of characters from the X-Men and Fantastic Four side of the Marvel universe, and trailers have shown some very stiff models for the characters. Despit this, players are still eager to hear who will be a part of the final roster. At San Diego Comic Con, the Marvel Games panel confirmed four more characters. No footage was shown, however, the official Twitter for the game confirmed the inclusions, and stated that a trailer to show them off would be coming tomorrow: “Spider-Man, Gamora, Nemesis, Frank West & Haggar were confirmed as playable characters in today’s Marvel Games panel – trailer Friday AM!” Spider-Man just came off a big movie, so it’s no surprise he’s in there, and Frank West has been in the game multiple times. At the Sony E3 Press Conference, a big new trailer was shown for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Infinite. One that showed multiple new characters, as well as the tease for the story mode, a demo of which is available for download right now. Character wise, the trailer showed off, Thanos, Gamora, Nova, Black Panther, Zero from Mega Man X and Dante from Devil May Cry, and in a really big surprise, the Bionic Commando! Earlier this week, Capcom dropped a boatload of new details for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. This included a new story trailer, a bunch of new characters, and all the various editions for the game that’s due out in September. Right after that, Capcom dropped another new trailer for the game, showcasing some new gameplay footage in action. You can check out that new video in the player below. This new trailer doesn’t really feature much in the way of reveals. However, it does show off new gameplay footage featuring the recently announced roster characters of Ultron, Chun-Li, Hulk, Strider Hiryu, Thor, Chris Redfield, and Hawkeye. Capcom dropped a boat load of information today for the next installment in the Marvel vs. Capcom series, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. The new material today included the reveal of a boatload of new characters, a special limited edition box set, and a new story trailer, which you can check out in the player below. So first off, eight additional characters were revealed in total today, along with pre-order details. But the following eight characters were revealed for the game’s roster: Ultron Hulk Thor Hawkeye Rocket Raccoon Chun-Li Strider Hiryu Chris Redfield These characters join the roster alongside the previously announced Ryu, Mega Man X, Morrigan, Captain America, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel. The gameplay will also utilize the Infinity Stones to equip and use elemental powers, including Time, Power and Space. Japanese gamer outlet 4gamer.net released a new interview with Capcom assistant producer Tomoaki Ayano, who had some details on Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite and when fans might expect it to come out next year. According to Ayano, the game is expected to release “in the second half of next year (2017).” Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was first announced earlier this month at the 2016 PlayStation Experience, and it would be a multi-platform release. Additionally, it was announced for a 2017 release. This news at least narrows things down a little bit. Sometime in the third or fourth quarter for 2017 makes a lot of sense for the game’s release. On Saturday, December 4 at the PlayStation Experience, the debut of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was revealed. The new fighting game was announced for a 2017 release. However, things only escalated from there. On Sunday, December 4, Capcom and Marvel dropped a new gameplay trailer, offering a look at the first in-gameplay footage of the game. Then, an extended gameplay trailer was revealed, which you can check out below. The extended gameplay trailer in fact confirmed two additional characters to the roster in Captain America from Marvel and Morrigan of Capcom’s Darkstalkers series. As previously reported, rumors surfaced recently hinting that a fourth Marvel vs. Capcom game could become a reality, and the sequel could be announced as soon as PlayStation Experience 2016. Those rumors were true, and Marvel vs. Capcom 4, or rather Marvel vs. Capcom 4, was first announced at the showcase event on Saturday at the PlayStation Experience.
