Twitch Lets You Upload Videos Now
There are changes coming to Twitch! As we reported last week there’s Twitch Prime, the extension of Amazon Prime that grants extra features to Twitch users who subscribe to the service. But other demanded features are being added to the improvements list, chief among them the ability to upload pre-recorded videos. Until now, Twitch was strictly a live-streaming game website — the only playthroughs you could watch were either live or archived material that used to be live. Requests to allow uploaded videos were ignored by the old guard, but Mama Amazon sees things differently. “When you upload a video, you don’t have to be on your toes, live on-stream,” Twitch explains in a new blog post.
