LeapFrog’s Children-Focused Game Console LeapTV Announced
httpvh://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvYUh1Y-lK0 LeapFrog today announced their brand new game console, LeapTV. LeapTV is a $150 educational game console that is tailored specifically to children. The console features a very simplistic controller that children will have no problem using. The controller is transformable, which means it can be used as a normally functioning controller, or changed into a motion controller, similar to the Wii remote. Children can also interact with the game using the motion-sensing camera instead of the controller. There are multiple ways in which children can play LeapTV, they can use the motion controller to play games that, for example, allow them to chop down vines. They can also use the motion-sensing camera to play games such as ones that have them block a goal from soccer balls. The basic controller also has a variety of games that children can play using the buttons, or the controllers tilting abilities. LeapTV will be released this holiday for $150.
