WOW! The CW confirmed a new special guest would be making an appearance on the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover this December….and it’s a Bat-Doozy! Kevin Conroy will be appearing on-screen in the role of an elderly Bruce Wayne, which he personified in the iconic Batman: The Animated Series! Not only is this great news, it’s also the closest we’ve ever come to actually getting Batman to appear on one of these shows.
When it comes to adaptations of characters, especially takes that have been done for cartoons, games, or live-action shows or movies, everyone has their favorite. This goes especially for Batman, who has had near innumerous takes done on the character. One of the most popular versions by far is voiced by Kevin Conroy. Who has literally voiced Bruce Wayne/Batman for over 20 years, starting with Batman: The Animated Series, all the way to the recent Killing Joke animated film.
At E3 2014, Warner Bros. Interactive provided a special, behind-closed-doors first look presentation for Batman: Arkham Knight. The developers at Rocksteady Games presented an extended preview featuring actual gameplay footage and a look at the game’s new combat techniques as well as stealth and predator takedowns. Also, let’s not forget the ability to actually use the Batmobile. The first look demo gave an in-depth look at using the Batmobile in both Pursuit Mode and Battle Mode.
