Portal Runner is the name of an infamous video game from the early 2000s. It was so bad it sunk the company that made it. Because of this, the words “Portal” and “Runner” together will always generate a smirk from a crowd in the know. Maybe someone should’ve told Kairos Productions and Terror Films, who wound up using the title for a family-orientied sci-fi thriller due out this Christmas.
