The upcoming zombie survival video game, Dying Light, features parkour-influenced action sequences. Well Ampisound, who previously created the Mirrors Edge POV viral video, partnered with Dying Light developer Techland for a new live-action POV video, Dying Light Parkour POV, inspired by the video game. The short film is available below. The video was shot on location on the rooftops of Cambridge, United Kingdom. The short film gives viewers an intense POV of what it is like for a runner fleeing for his life from zombies on the rooftops of an abandoned city. Remember kids, the zombies in the video are fake and the stunts are done by trained professionals. Do not try this at home. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt System Requirements Revealed

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s release is still a few months away, but CD Projekt Red has released the official system requirements for the Windows PC version of the game. The system requirements were released via the game’s official website.  The game will require a minimum 6 GB of RAM in order to run along with a 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 8 (8.1) operating system. The game will require 40 GB of hard disk drive space. Of course, the recommended RAM space is 8 GB. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will finally launch on May 19. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The highly anticipated sequel was originally due out next month on February 24 before developer CD Projekt Red announced that the game had been delayed another three months, and the release date had been pushed back to May. Resident Evil HD Remaster Available for Pre-Order for Xbox One

The wait for players to once again enter the world of survival horror is almost over. Per MajorNelson.com, the Resident Evil HD remaster is now available for digital pre-order and pre-download for Microsoft’s Xbox One console.  Players can pre-order the game now directly from the Xbox Live marketplace or online for $19.99. The file download size is 14.98 gigabytes. Players will be able to download the game from Xbox Live before its scheduled release date of January 20. However, Resident Evil fans will not be able to play the “REmake” until January 20 starting at 12:01 AM PDT or 3:01 AM EST on the east coast. The release of the highly anticipated game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, was delayed another three months to May. However, the images of the steelbook covers for collector’s edition release of the game have made their way online (via Studio Kxx). The gorgeous new cover artwork could possibly satiate fans who are disappointed by the additional wait. That is unless the sight of the new cover artwork gets them so excited they are even more agitated by the longer wait. The covers were illustrated by artist Krzysztof Domaradzki and are truly a sight to behold. The images are available below. The alternate covers for the steelbook case feature various characters of The Witcher lore and mythos, including: main protagonist Geralt of Rivia; the King of the Wild Hunt; Geralt’s lady loves Triss Merigold and Yennefer of Vengerberg; and Geralt’s adopted daughter, Ciri. In a new video message released late last month by game publisher Comcept, video game producer Keiji Inafune revealed that his game project, Mighty No. 9, is “pretty much finished.” In addition, he game is now entering its “porting and promotion stage.” Inafune, the legendary co-creator and producer of the Mega Man franchise, released the video as a New Year’s message. Some footage of a new stage from Mighty No. 9 was also shown in the video. The porting stage means the developers are working on sending the game to its various platforms which Mighty No. 9 is scheduled to be released for later this year. What is interesting about the history of Mighty No. 9 is that the game was financed completely through Kickstarter. The game raised $3,845,170 from 67,226 backers off of an initial pledge goal of $900,000. The project was successfully funded as of October 1, 2013. E3 2014: DESTINY PS4 PREVIEW At E3, I finally got the chance to pick up and play the upcoming new title from the developers at Bungie, Destiny. I’ve been avidly awaiting the chance to actually play the game since my first glimpse of Destiny at last year’s E3. In this new role-playing, first-person shooter experience, gamers will play as Guardians of the last city on planet Earth in the distant future after a devastating cataclysm. At the expo, I was given the opportunity to play both the game’s single-player mode and the competitive, online multi-player mode. For the first leg of the demo, I was able to pick out and customize my own character. In Destiny, a player can use one of the three specific classes of Guardians to play: Titan, Warlock, and Hunter. E3 2014: GERALT OF RIVIA DOMINATES HIS FOES IN THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT For E3 2013, CD Projekt Red and Warner Bros. Interactive provided another special, behind-closed-doors demo of the upcoming sequel to The Witcher video game franchise, based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski.  The presentation at the Warner Bros.
