Battlefield 3 (On Friday) and InFamous 2: Festival of Blood headline this week’s update!
As much as the paranormal field has exploded positively over the last 10 years, there’s been a lot of TV shows dramatizing the field, and potentially faking evidence. Arguably The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) has been both involved in the surge of popularity and on the flip side been accused of faking evidence. It’s TV! That seems to be the most common explanation and accuse given to defend TAPS, however for a field that is trying to be taken seriously in the scientific community, this has the potential to send the paranormal field back into the stone age.(more…)

The arrival of inFAMOUS 2 on PSN as a digital download was an electrifying way of wrapping up the week. A classic, and equally infamous title, Beyond Good and Evil receives the HD treatment and headlines this week’s The Drop. Mr. X, Axel, Blaze, Skate and Max make their PSN debut when Streets of Rage 2 also makes its PSN premiere.

When Sucker Punch said they wanted to strive for quality similar to Uncharted 2 I knew it would be a tall order, and to be honest; I wasn’t sure they were capable. It’s not meant to be a cheap shot at the team, but rather a legitimate criticism. inFAMOUS 2 is an open world adventure title, and to achieve a level of quality similar to Uncharted 2 would be nothing short of astonishing. Does Sucker Punch succeed in matching their expectations for inFAMOUS 2? No, but they come pretty damn close. Hit the break to view our verdict.
