Guess What’s Been Delayed Again, Everybody?
You’ll never guess what popular TV series just announced an indefinite delay to the production of its next season. Or maybe you will. You probably knew before you clicked here. Yes, after being clocked by a global pandemic resulting in three years’ time between seasons 3 and 4, Netflix’s darling Stranger Things is once again sidelined by current events it has no control over. In this case it’s a Hollywood writers’ strike with no end in sight. Filming was scheduled to begin in June; it will now be put off until whenever this mess gets sorted out. “Writing does not stop when filming begins,” the Duffer Brothers said in a public statement. “While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike.
