Rock Band VR Launching In March
While PC players were left without the prospect of getting their hands on Rock Band 4 following an unsuccessful crowdfunding campaign by Harmonix, those with VR hardware will be able to rock out with plastic instruments in the very near future. Rock Band VR is a title developed by the studio that is set to launch on March 23 for Oculus Rift. Players will need to have the Oculus Touch motion controller as well as a Rock Band 4 console guitar to play the game, though. While Rock Band VR will come with a classic mode similar to the game modes in Rock Band 4 and other titles, it will also contain a brand new performance mode. This has been specifically created for the VR experience and is not as rigid in its gameplay as other modes.
