One of the most striking things about the newly announced Nintendo Switch is that it combines elements of both a home and portable console. This has caused some debate about the future of Nintendo’s 3DS and the entire concept of the company separating its hardware divisions. However, it does not seem like the Japanese firm is looking to replace the 3DS with the upcoming Switch.
Despite all the advantages of Pokemon Go Plus, there is a serious shortcoming with the device that has proved to be a major issue for regular players. According to The Silph Road, the wearable hardware is only capable of using regular Pokeballs rather than the Ultra or Great varieties. This makes it much less useful for catching higher level creatures that can only be caught using these types of items.
