Today is the day the Crimson Curse expansion launches in Gwent. The expansion adds over 100 cards to the game, across all playable factions. It also introduces the Poison and Bleeding attacks, the Shield and Vitality defense moves, and the Deathblow and Berserk gameplay mechanics. And vampires.

The Gwait is finally over for GWENT. After months in open beta, CD Projekt Red’s Witcher spinoff is finished, polished and ready for play. As thanks for making it happen, everyone who participated in the beta will receive a commemorative player title. Annually, CD Projekt Red holds an esports tournament for its Witcher 3 spinoff, the card game GWENT. The 2018 GWENT Open was held last weekend, October 13-14. A share in a $25,000 prize pool was on the line, along with Crown Points and advancement to the next round.
