God Of Rock is a Rhythm-based fighter. Yes, Modus Studios, a Video Game company from Brazil, invents a new video game genre by Merging a 2d fighter with a Rhythm Music Game. It will be available for download for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
Now that we are approaching Christmas, many of the biggest franchises are set to receive sequels in the coming months and October is no different. The likes of Assassin’s Creed and Halo will see new games in the next month while old favourites such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero are set to return.

Apple held a special event today to show off what was coming from Apple later this year. One special, and surprising to many, was that several games will be coming to Apple products, including Apple TV, iPad, and more.
Activision has announced the return of the Guitar Hero franchise. After a hiatus, the franchise is slated to return this fall with Guitar Hero Live. The franchise goes next-gen and will boast some new features, including live action, first-person gameplay and reactive crowds. In addition, Activision has released a new reveal trailer for the game, which is available in the player below.
Think back to last decade when timed-response games set in rhythm to rock classics were big business, and so were the giant plastic peripherals that came with them — fake guitars came first, then phony drums, pianos, you name it. It became the defining fad of last gen’s hardware; everybody had Guitar Hero, Rock Band or both, and would get together to jam as often as possible.
A brand new Guitar Hero game it currently under development and will launch on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at some point in the future. A report from Kotaku, which they have confirmed with two separate sources, claims that Activision has brought back the series and will formally announce it at this year’s E3. The sources allege that the new game will not feature the cartoon graphics of previous instalments and will have a more realistic visual style than previous.
After years of pushing both Infinity Ward and Treyarch to pump out yearly Call of Duty sequels, has the series finally began to lose some of its juggernaut momentum? Apparently so according to a recent Gamasutra article. Despite having a stronger initial debut than previous entry Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3’s sales are currently falling behind by about 4.2% those of Treyarch’s title.
It's official, the Guitar Hero franchise is now dead. During an investor call yesterday, Activision said it would cut around seven percent of its workfoce, which is around 500 people. With the recent drought in the music genre these types of cuts weren't completely unexpected, however it's still disapointing to see some developers out of a job.
