Games With Gold Titles For May Announced
As is ordinary for this time of the month, Microsoft’s Major Nelson has revealed what the free games will be for Xbox gamers with the Games With Gold program. All of the titles will be available throughout the month of May and three of the four are actually sequels. The first half of the month will see both Defense Grid 2 ($14.99) and Grid 2 ($24.99) offered to all Xbox Live members who have Gold subscription on their account. The second half will see Peggle ($9.99) on the Xbox 360 and Costume Quest 2 ($14.99) on the Xbox One. Both of the Xbox 360 offerings are backwards compatible on the Xbox One, meaning players on that console effectively have access to four games worth almost $65. Gold members only have a few days left to grab April’s Games With Gold. Saints Row IV is still available on the Xbox 360 while the Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive can also still be downloaded at no cost.
