Humble Bundle Introduces Gamepage For Indie Devs
Over the last few days, Humble Bundle have been rolling out Gamepages, a new service offered to developers who want to build a website dedicated to selling their game. This is chiefly notable for developers who want to (or already do) sell their games through the Humble Widget, but don’t want to create and pay for a standalone website to host said widget. Speaking about why they decided to create Gamepages, Humble Bundle have said: “We hope that this service will help developers maintain pages for all of their games and lead to more customers buying directly from developers. We think it’s important for game developers to reach customers directly and one of the best ways to do that is with your own website.” Gamepages will let Indie Devs have a number of options when creating and customizing their page, such as: Set the tone with an introductory image or video Responsive design that looks great on mobile and desktop Social integration to engage more customers on Twitter and Facebook Display key art
