Free League has announced a new RPG based on a different Stålenhag book, The Electric State. Its crowdfunding campaign launched on Kickstarter today and reached its goal in minutes.
Early this year Free League announced they were working on The Walking Dead Universe, a tabletop RPG based on the AMC TV show and its spinoffs. A crowdfunding campaign came with that announcement and reached almost $600,000, well over its initial goal. If you missed that campaign, today happens to be the day the game becomes available commercially.

Everything you need is contained in an illustrated hardback with the material for six new adventures. They’re malleable enough to be played individually, or as chapters of a larger story.

An exact release date is still not out there, but it is probably soon, as preorders just opened that include early access to the PDF version of the game.

Free League heard it and was impressed enough to give her a contract.
Last August Free League released Dragonbane, a remake of a classic Swedish TTRPG, now made available globally for the first time. They also came up with a Dragonbane game engine for free use that will allow anyone to make a game that is compatible with the rules in this one. But for those who feel the stock of monsters in the vanilla Dragonbane is a bit small, a new shipment is on the way.
