Ashbourne, a third person action role playing game set in an immersive medieval world, based in 15th century England and developed by Endemic Interactive, has launched on Steam Greenlight, getting a new trailer as well as a number of new screenshots. According to Endemic Interactive, in the game, you take on the role of Alexander Marshal, a knight of the Endewyn empire, which is one of the smallest of the six established empires within Ashbourne. Players will lead the Endewyn empire to victory in battles against much larger empires, taking over their land, wiping out their armies and anything else that dares to stand in their way. Ashbourne contains a very fluid combat system which will allow players to deliver fatal attacks to enemies, using an array of weapons. The combat system features both long-range and short-range weapons, the likes of which features anything from longbows to maces, giving players the choice of combat style they feel most comfortable with.
