Sherlock is a little under 48 hours away from its long awaited season 04 premiere on BBC and BBC America. The show is somewhat notorious when it comes to the long gaps in between the seasons, making it a very atypical TV series. However, as many of the stars have noted, the beauty of Sherlock is that it allows them to do other shows, and movies, in the meantime without feeling “tied down” like many TV series do with their stars. This is especially true for Benedict Cumberbatch, who took on the role of Dr. Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
We’re less than two weeks away from the release of the next film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Dr. Strange will seek to “open our minds” to the possibilities of magic. While many don’t fear Benedict Cumberbatch’s capability to bring Dr. Strange to life, it’s a different outlook on the villain of the piece, Kaecilius, who is played by Mads Mikkelsen. The actor is beloved for his time as Hannibal Lector in the Hannibal NBC television series.
