VR Game Straylight To Be Released January 31, Soundtrack Album January 27
At the end of this month STRAYLIGHT, a new VR game by Dr Bloc, will be released. The man they tapped to write the soundtrack for said game is Rob Kovacs, who was initially hired to just come up with the title track, but Bloc liked the end product so much he decided to hire Kovacs to compose the entire game’s score. Kovacs wanted to go retro with the sound of this one, using a synthwave style composed with tools like a Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 rev. 3.2 synthesizer, a Logic Pro X DAW, an Apogee Ensemble convertor and a bunch of other instruments you’ve probably never heard of.
