Many people resonate with the story because most us has been an outcast as one point of our lives. There is a Wimpy kid on every one of us. Greg will now be immortalized in animated form. The puberty of actors will not be an issue anymore to adapt all of the books. Some books from the series were not adapted into films. The reason, the actors changed was because of Puberty. Zachary Gordon and Devon Bostick played Greg and Rodrick for three films but they got recast in the fourth film after they grew up. Both Actors are now transitioned to adult roles.
