This week at BlizzCon, Blizzard Entertainment announced the details of the 2.4 patch for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. The update will feature a New Zone for the game with Greyhollow Island. There will also be new items, features and quality of life changes with the new download patch. Here’s a preview of some of the new features for the update. Blizzard announced today that patches for Diablo 3 on Xbox One and PS4 will be identical to those on the PC version, and they will also be updated shortly after the PC version.
Blizzard Entertainment announced that the upcoming console version of Diablo 3, Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition, will run at 1080p on PlayStation 4 (which was previously announced), and run at 900p on the Xbox One. Senior Producer for the console versions of Diablo 3, Julia Humphreys, confirmed this in an interview with Joystiq at E3.
Blizzard Entertainment recently launched a website for an officially unannounced Diablo 3 project. The site features only a dark image of an open door and the following text in the iconic Diablo font: “Death, at last, shall spread its wings over all.”
Jay Wilson, Game Director of the much hyped Diablo 3 is stepping down. According to a forum post, he is leaving the Diablo 3 team after 7 years and will be working on other Blizzard projects.
