Demon Slayer Video Game Confirmed For Western Localization
The feature film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train made a mint in the US, and under pandemic conditions. That means Demon Slayer is an undeniable hit, and we should be getting more products based around the series localized here. The newest Demon Slayer game, which is called Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles overseas, has been confirmed by Sega to be getting a release in Western countries. We assume the title will be shortened to Demon Slayer: Hinokami Chronicles when it shows up here. The game is being developed by CyberConnect2, who has handled other anime properties in the recent past like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja titles. Like those games, Hinokami Chronicles will adapt certain arcs from the manga and anime for its storyline: in this case, the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc and Mugen Train Arc (yes, the movie storyline is part of it).
